aop Problem

Postby jonlar » Fri Jul 25, 2008 12:42 pm

Hi everybody. Where to start....

I am a channelowner in Quakenet with a "Securebot" in. I have taken myself the aop Flags on Q and i also thought i have done this on the bot too, but always when i deop myself the bot ops me again.
Was searching in partyline but i cannot find any solution.
When i whois myself i have global owner flags and i cannot take the ao Flag. It looks like that the chan doesnt know me

.whois <me>
Bot - #<chan> - never
Global flags for <me> are now +hjlmnoptx.

Do you have a script loaded, that checks for owners/masters and ops them?

Jonlar, well, the one thing you can is.. take +a from your "chattr", or set the channel to -autoop.

Partyline:

.chattr YourHandle -a
.chanset #Channel -autoop

TCL Debug:

!tcl chattr YourHandle -a
!tcl channel set #Channel -autoop

quit strange.. i have two bots. one with secure script .op .deop function

and one ist just advertising.

when i write .deop in mychan the securebot deops me but the other bot (advertiseBot) ops me again. so i tried your command in Partyline (both Bots) and debug and that came out

.chanset #mychan -autoop
( BOTH Bots ) Successfully set modes { -autoop } on #mychan.

BUT.....with the command .deop (implemented in secureBot)

SecureBot sets #mychan mode -o me
Advertisebot sets #mychan mode +o me

hmmm

Paste the chattr of your hand on both bots... and also would be nice chaninfo.

TCLDEBUG:

!tcl return [chattr YourHand]
!tcl channel info #yourchan

Partyline:

.chattr YourHand
.chaninfo #yourchan

Then, as Sumsar mentioned above, you should look for a script which could cause opping you.
